Project: Survey processing, data analysis and reporting tool.
KSA Plus is a medium sized image consulting and outreach management company specializing in educational issues.
Projects for KSAPlus:

CASFCalifornia School Finance - The California School Finance website, a project for EdSource, is a DotNetNuke website at the core, but with a very large amount of customization included to manage collecting and displaying a lot of data within the site. The site starts off collecting survey data from visitors, then tracking the visitors throughout the site and reporting back to EdSource on what visitors are viewing and how they are using the site. Other custom data elements include glossaries and bibliographies. On the visual side, the CASF site includes many randomly rotating banner graphics and factoids. See http://www.californiaschoolfinance.org/

Vision 2015 - Vision 2015 is a private/public/civic effort dedicated to developing a world-class public education system in Delaware. This is another DotNetNuke site that was brought up in a very short amount of time for a very low price. We used off the shelf components and skins as much as possible, and allowed the client to populate the content as we were finishing the skin design, minimizing the total time to delivery in order to meet a publicity requirement. See the main site here: http://www.vision2015delaware.org/

DC Public Schools Facilities Master Plan - DC Public Schools needed a website quickly and on a budget that only a school system could love. The DotNetNuke website that we developed for them used a highly customized skin template to display steadily evolving documentation for public dissemination of planning documents. Constantly evolving as content is added and rearranged on the site, the flexibility of the DNN CMS is paying dividends on the original investment. See http://www.greatschools.k12.dc.us/

Public Interest Registry - PIR is the organization that controls all of the .org domain names. Not a registrar it's self, it is the organizing body for the domain name most used by non-profits. Written entirely from scratch in ASP.NET, PIR was a test of creating a large site with lots of active content in ASP.NET and still have it look good and work quickly. Administration pages control much of the polls, news items, press releases, .ORGs to watch and other active content. In Phase 2, the PIR site is being translated into 6 more languages and most pages will be available in English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Extensive resource management had to be done to make the translations come off as seamless and make sure the site was completely useful to users in all of those languages. See the main site here: http://www.pir.org

CCSSE - The Community College Survey of Student Engagement is a series of surveys completed by students at a large number of community colleges nationwide. The students responses were collected, entered into the computer along with a large amount of demographic information about the student and the college. The CCSSE system allows the public and the CCSSE members to query the data, form comparisons against other subsets of the data and create graphical reports. On this project I used Cold Fusion for the first time as well as Statistical Analysis Suite (SAS 9.0) to do the statistical heavy lifting.
The CCSSE Web site has been highlighted in USA Today. It also won an EdPress award for best interactive feature. To view the data search, visit www.ccsse.org, go to “Survey Results” and click on “Search the Data.” Or just go to: www.ccsse.org/survey/search.html. The system has both a public and a members-only side. You can look behind the scenes at the private side here.

DC Public Schools Master Education Plan - For the DC Public Schools Master Education Plan I put together a DotNetNuke website on a very quick turnaround, converting over a custom design to a DNN skin, putting together some custom module code and launching the whole site in a matter of days.
